Back to school does not only mean children returning to the classroom. For many Greenwich residents, autumn can be an opportunity to make a fresh start, learn practical skills and prepare for the months ahead.
This autumn, CMA Debt Centre Greenwich will be hosting CAP Life Skills and CAP Money Courses, helping local people strengthen their budgeting skills, manage everyday living costs and get their household finances on track ahead of Christmas. Through our CAP Job Club, we will also support residents who are looking to develop confidence, prepare for employment and take their next step towards work.
We believe that God gives us 365 new beginnings every year. His mercies are new every morning, and no one needs to feel that it is too late to begin again. We are therefore encouraging individuals and families to engage with us through these courses and discover practical support, renewed confidence and fresh hope.
Through our Back to School, Back to Hope fundraising campaign, we are inviting our churches, friends and supporters to help us provide these courses free of charge to Greenwich residents. Donations will help with course materials, refreshments, venue and delivery costs, as well as the wider debt and welfare-rights support that some participants may need.
Together, we can help local people return to learning, take control of their finances and approach Christmas and the future, with greater confidence.
