Following the success of Life Skills, we felt the next step was to offer Job Club to our portfolio of courses. We understand how challenging and overwhelming job searching can feel. Our commitment is to support residents of Greenwich to gain the skills and confidence to return to the job market. In partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP), Job Club is now available to residents across Greenwich.

What is Job Club?
CAP Job Club is a friendly, practical course designed to give you the skills, tools, and confidence to find work. Through supportive group sessions, we help you identify your strengths. One-to-one coaching assists in writing a standout CV. Practical resources will prepare you for interviews. We also help you approach job searching with renewed confidence.

How it works
The course runs for two hours a week over an eight-week period. It combines teaching, group activities, and individual support. This approach helps you take clear steps towards employment.

Practical opportunities
Run in our fully equipped IT suite. Job Club lets you search and apply for jobs during sessions as part of your Universal Credit work commitments. Guidance is available every step of the way. We’ll support you in creating or updating your CV so you can present yourself at your best.

Working alongside other local church projects, we can also arrange valuable work experience placements throughout Greenwich. These opportunities can help you build confidence, develop new skills, and prepare for the workplace.

CAP Job Club is for anyone who is looking for work. It is also for those returning to the job market. Additionally, it helps individuals wanting to improve their employability skills. Whether you’ve been unemployed for a short time or a while, Job Club can assist you. You might also simply want to boost your confidence and job-seeking skills. Job Club offers a safe, encouraging environment to help you move forward.
