
CMA Debt Centre Greenwich Benefit Support volunteer, you will support our Money Mentors. You will provide them with up-to-date and relevant information about changes to benefit entitlements.
As a CMA Debt Centre Greenwich Benefit Support/Form Filler volunteer, you will be:
- Supporting in case work covering the full range of benefits entitlements
- Researching changes in benefit entitlements and their implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
- Supporting the client to complete the appropriate application(s) to maximise their income, including those relating to benefits.
- Maintaining the benefits changes records
- Networking with Local Authorities and Voluntary Organisations, maintaining and promoting strong working partnerships to the benefit of clients
- Able to work flexibly, with Line Manager support given
- DBS Enhanced holder for vulnerable adults (if you do not have this we are willing to apply for this)
