
CMA Debt Centre Greenwich Befriender will provide a clear idea of the support available. They help the person in debt understand what to expect from CMA Debt Centre Greenwich. Additionally, they assist them in achieving their identified goals or outcomes.
As a CMA Debt Centre Greenwich Befriender volunteer, you will be:
- A supporter of the person struggling with debt by encouraging them to recognising the level of their debt
- Providing Pastoral care with a willingness to pray with the client
- Providing reassurance that their debt can be dealt with in partnership with CMA Debt Centre Greenwich
- Supporting the person in debt with completing various processes such as completing online forms
- Checking in regularly either face with the person struggling with debt to understand how they are coping
- Able to work flexibly, with Line Manager support given
- Liaising and co-operating with CMA Debt Centre Greenwich and share relevant information.
- DBS Enhanced holder for vulnerable adults (if you do not have this we are willing to apply for this)
